What is Riverside Youth Ministry?

Curious about what your kids get up to when they make their way to an event? WONDER NO MORE. Here's a quick breakdown of RYM's focus areas.

>Small Groups
Riverside is passionate about giving every person an opportunity to hear the life changing message of Jesus Christ, and to become fully devoted disciples through our small group focus. Our small group program runs with separate guys and girls groups; and is a positive, safe environment where people can share the journey as they grow towards loving God and loving each other more.

>IMPACT
Our entry-level program for community youth is called IMPACT. Running Friday nights from 7-9:30pm, this is our crazy-games, high-energy night with a focus on an introduction to Jesus through the gospel message and an encouraging follow-up culture.

>discipleship Tools
A big role that we play as youth ministry leaders is to ensure that we’re providing constant, contemporary tools that are available to those youth in our committed and core who desire to take their relationship with God to the next level. Over the coming months, we’ll be releasing a range of resources that our youth can use to develop their quiet times, increase their prayer lives and memorise more of their bible than ever before! We’ll follow up these tools with an accountability program to ensure our youth are getting maximum value and growing more in God each day.

>Sponsorship
One of the strategies that was birthed recently was an ongoing project to develop business sponsorships for youth ministry. This involves getting businesses to partner with us and sponsor the youth ministry through helping us purchase slabs of soft drink, boxes of bibles or devotional books, etc. Whether it’s bibles that are gifted to new believers, or coke that is sold at our outreach events, it’s all sowing into our purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission in our target areas.
